Do you use Instagram? Does a massive amount of “Likes” and engagement interest you? Fantastic, I imagined so. Today I will show you a very simple way to Super Charge your Instagram presence. Oh, and the good news it takes less than 60 seconds.

Tag For Likes (iPhone and Android App)
Wow. That’s really interesting. It feels a bit spammy (not to mention cheeky!) but for those of us looking to expand our web presence for business this looks like a great way to tap into a captive audience. Thanks Sean!
@Storyographer You are welcome 🙂
Yes, the tags can be a bit much so use could certainly use them sparingly. That being said using many tags on Instagram is very popular, especially with the kids. This makes the crazy tagging not as noticeable as other networks would be.
Thanks so much for stopping by,
My Best,
Sean
Hey @SocialMediaSean Awesome! I’m a little hesitant to use a lot of hashtags in any one post but that looks like a very cool tool! And thanks for using my blog post and graphic as an example. You rock!
@casmccullough Absolutely, you are welcome and thank-you for some morning inspiration. If you dive into the app you can be more specific to your picture you are sharing on Instagram. Ex #Fitness or #Health or #Art etc. Don’t have to go crazy like I did in the example.
Thanks again,
My Best,
Sean Charles
For whatever reason, I don’t see a video on this page, @SocialMediaSean . Is there a YouTube account I can check out?
@JMOTA3 Oh sorry about that. I was doing some editing, or you may need to refresh your browser. IN the mean time here is the Youtube link http://youtu.be/zYanHow0I5w
Also just for fun here is the SocialCam link with some more sizzle https://socialcam.com/v/qwxMgYRs

Nice one buddy. How did you make this video? Iis very cool
mqtodd Hi Michael, @mqtodd thanks so much for stopping by. To make the video I used an app for iOS called Display Recorder https://socialmediasean.com/how-to-record-your-iphone-ipad-screen-video/
Unfortunately the app is no longer available, as it was pulled almost right away. Apparently this function goes against Apples TOS. The good news is I found another way to record your smartphone screen using http://www.airserverapp.com/ and it works really well but need to use in conjunction with a computer.
I will be doing a video on that soon 🙂

Thanks again Michael,

It looks like a great way to get bots to like your photo! But what’s the use in that? This just seems like pure empty vanity to me. I’d rather get fewer likes from actual humans and engage with them through comments. I notice the photo from the video has only attracted spam comments.
@jkns Hi jkns, thanks for stopping by. Actually when tags are used correctly they are extremely powerful. As I mention in the video this was a general example for popular tags. Don’t give up on tags, or tag for likes app, just because you are worried about bots. If you explore the app further you will see you can target your tags much better and build genuine engagement and community. 😛
Cheers,
Sean Charles
@SocialMediaSean
Hi Sean, good points. Used properly in the right situation maybe this could be quite good. #Unfortunately #there #are #quite #a #few #people #that #just #stuff #their #posts #with #tags!
@jkns Thanks Thanks…
Please stop by again soon.
🙂

Wow! I never knew the power of Instagram and the tag! I’m definitely going to use tags on my pics from now on. (As sparingly as I can. lol)
@AaronWood Hi Aaron, tags are also great for conferences. Easy way to find out what’s happening or promote your talk or booth.
Appreciate the comment, Please come back soon.
My Best,
Sean 🙂
@SocialMediaSean I’ll keep that in mind when I have my booth at SXSW this year! Thanks!
Hey @SocialMediaSean ! Thanks for this tip! I used it for my fitness photos and I’ve met some really cool new running friends! It’s awesome to see their photos too because it motivates me to get out there! Thanks!!!
